Your cancellation rights
In addition to your normal statutory rights, subject to certain exceptions, see below, as a consumer you also have the right to cancel the contract at any time up to fourteen days after the date your order is delivered to you, or if you have ordered more than one item and they are delivered on different dates, fourteen days after the date of the last delivery of your order.
Furniture
Your right to cancel doesn’t apply to products that are made to your specifications. Where a product has been personalised or made to your measurements i.e. made to order furniture such as sofas; divans and other products where you have chosen a specific colour or design.
Floorcoverings
Your right to cancel doesn’t apply to products that are made to your specifications. This includes floor coverings, which have been cut from a roll to your specific order size. If the goods are excluded from your right to cancel, we will find out whether they have already been cut to your specifications and if not, we will accept a cancellation of your order and refund your money. If, however, the product has been prepared for you we will only accept cancellation if we may deduct a proportion of the purchase price from the refund, we issue to you to cover the losses we will incur in selling your purchase as a reduced-price remnant in our stores. We will advise you of any such charge and you may then decide whether or not you wish to cancel the order.
Mattresses and Divan Sets
In respect of any mattress or headboard these have been sealed to both protect the goods and for health and hygiene reasons. Consequently, if they are unsealed after delivery then your right to cancel and return the goods lapses. You are under a duty to take reasonable care of the goods until the end of any cooling off period.
Soft Furnishings & blinds
Your right to cancel doesn’t apply to products that are made to your specifications. Where a product has been personalised or made to your measurements i.e. made to order curtains, blinds and other products where you have chosen a specific size, colour or design.
General
When your goods have been delivered you have a reasonable opportunity to make sure that they are the goods you ordered. If not, you should not cut into, fit or use them (other than to check whether or not they are the right goods). You should retain the packaging so that this can be reused, if possible, for their return. You will be responsible for the condition of the goods and for their reasonable care whilst they are in your possession. Please contact the store within 14 days of delivery.
It is the customers responsibility to accurately measure the product and access, and for the removal of any doors, windows or objects in the room to ensure that access is clear prior to delivery being made
Cancellation Charges
If you decide to cancel a made to order or special order product (such as sofas; divans and other products where you have chosen a specific colour or design), then it is highly unlikely that we can sell it to another customer at the full selling price. We therefore reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of 25% of the order value.
Please note that if we have not completed a measure in your home and a product should fail to fit into the property, then we will charge £50 delivery cost. If the product in question is a Made to Order item, then the cancellation fee of 25% of the order value applies. Please be aware that if the items are returned in a poor or damaged condition, and we will not be able to sell the product at a full selling price, then we have the right to seek compensation of up to 50% of the order value.
Returns
If you cancel your order and wish to return the products in accordance with your statutory right to cancel, we will arrange collection of the products. There will be a collection charge the product.
After this statutory fourteen day ‘cooling off’ period, you have the protection of your statutory rights. If you are unsure of your rights, please do not hesitate to seek advice from Trading Standards or other advisory body.
Refunds
When returning or cancelling your order, the way you originally paid for the purchase will determine how you are refunded. If you paid by credit or debit card, we’ll refund the same card originally used to place and pay for the order. Refunds can take up to 14 days to process.
Price Match Promise Terms & Conditions
- We’ll match the prices of in-stock products offered on identical terms and where we can check the price, stock position and where relevant your eligibility to purchase from the competitor.
- We’ll match against any other retailer within a 30 mile radius of our store, it excludes website prices or offer-code discounts.
- We do not match trade prices, prices only available as part of paid for membership/subscription or 3rd party marketplace seller prices.
- We do not match exclusive discounts e.g. staff/ student/ NHS staff blue light. • Our competitor’s product must be the same make, model, colour and/or fabric as ours.
- Both us and the competitor must have the product available in stock and ready to order/ for delivery.
- You will need to send a photo showing the model/ number/ details, there is stock available, the date/ time, the price and retailers logo.
- If any of the required information is in separate photos these must all be within 5 minutes of the first photo.
- We reserve the right to refuse a price match where we suspect that the product is not like for like, fraud or unauthorised reseller activity.
